Services
FHC provides Comprehensive Medical Services by appointments. Family Medicine, Internal
Medicine, Pediatric Clinic, Newborn Pediatric Clinic, Adolescent Health Services,
Dietician Services, Pediatric Dental Services, Podiatry Clinic, Optometry Clinic,
Immunization, STD/HIV/TB Program, Nephrology, Ophthalmology Services and Laboratory
Services. Urgent Care services are also provided. FHC provides immediate treatment
of non-threatening emergencies, and provides walk-in evaluation of medical problems,
minor injuries, illnesses and emotional disorders. The Urgent Care Delivery of care
includes assessment; treatment and evaluation of client medical conditions; disaster
preparedness; crisis intervention; appropriate follow-up; referrals; and discharge
instructions. The following are examples of services performed in the Urgent Care
Center:

- Incision and drainage of minor skin abscesses
- Suturing
- Removal of foreign bodies
- Intravenous (I.V.) therapy for hydration
- Intravenous (I.V.) therapy for immediate Medications (Example: Solu-Medrol, Antibiotics,
etc.)
In-kind services of Mental Health and Substance Abuse or provided by the Virgin
Islands Department of Health. Case management services for pregnant women and patients
with diabetes and hypertension are provided by VIPI.
FHC is open 8 to 5 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. On Wednesday we have extended
hours until 7pm.
Additionally we offer After Hours Call Service for our patients. Our providers are
on call after hours to give medical advice to our patients.
